Aniridia Russia to Host Webinar on WAGR Syndrome Awareness Day
On November 13, Aniridia Russia is hosting a Zoom meeting about WAGR syndrome that will include doctors and families of individuals with WAGR syndrome. This meeting will be held on the 4th annual WAGR Syndrome Awareness Day.
Specialists will share information related to WAGR syndrome and will also answer questions that have been submitted in advance. Medical specialties that will be featured include nephrology, endocrinology, neurophyscology, and molecular biology. Russian-speaking families around the world plan to participate, including individuals from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
After the event, a recording will be shared on multiple platforms.
The IWSA collaborates with Aniridia Russia (which includes WAGR syndrome patients and their families), and works closely with Galina Gening, PhD., President of the Interregional Support Center for Patients with Aniridia and WAGR Syndrome in Moscow. Galina also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Aniridia Europe.
