It is the policy of the International WAGR Syndrome Association to operate in a manner that provides transparency and accountability, and to make relevant, reliable information about income, financial position, and governance of the organization freely available. The IWSA receives high rankings by nonprofit oversight organizations.
The International WAGR Syndrome Association is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization
incorporated in 2004. The IWSA is the only international organization focused on promoting awareness, stimulating research, and supporting families affected by WAGR syndrome.
Annual Impact Reports highlight the work of the IWSA and demonstrate how the organization accomplishes its mission.
Past Impact Reports
Policies of the International WAGR Syndrome Association are established by the Board of Directors and form the "rules" that guide and govern the organization. IWSA policies are intended to reflect the values of the WAGR syndrome community, to insure that the IWSA establishes and maintains respectful and transparent relationships with its stakeholders, and complies with appropriate laws and regulations governing nonprofit orgranizations.
The purpose of the IWSA Strategic Plan is to address the goals and objectives of the organization, to ensure a solid infrastructure, quality programming and services, and effective marketing and fundraising strategies.
The IWSA does not provide financial support or funds to individuals or individual families
