In late 2017, the IWSA held a Leadership Retreat to create a new vision for the future of the organization. As a result, the IWSA Strategic Plan 2018-2020 was created and used as a roadmap for organizational goals and objectives during the past 3 years. Specifically, the Strategic Plan ensures that the mission of the IWSA is clear and focused and has played a key role in the organization's growth and achievements.

During the past few months, the Board of Directors has been developing the IWSA Strategic Plan 2021-2023. The recently-approved Plan contains many helpful sections relevant to the organization, including:

• a detailed summary of the history of the IWSA
• an assessment of IWSA's strengths and challenges
• a summary of goals and associated projects intended for 2021-2023
• a list of possible Future IWSA initiatives

The plan will be fully revised every three years, reviewed biannually, and updated as necessary.
